I think the drum bearing has broken because I have removed the clip but the drum is stuck solid, because I cannot remove the drum at all, any suggestions?

You should be able to put either WD40 or oil down the drum shaft to see if it will loosen up. Leave it to soak and when it has if you can bang inside the centre of the drum which should help it come loose.
